Josh Kuper became a master of his trade specializing in sandblasting and wooden signs by working as an apprentice at his father’s sign company in Northern Virginia. Local businesses that have stood the test of time such as Woody’s Golf and the Old Brogue Irish Pub have been ordering signs since the firm was established in 1975. Josh studied Graphic Design at Northern Virginia Community College.
After inheriting the family business in 2004, Josh changed the business name to Kuper Signs to honor his father. Josh has taken the sign shop to the next level by adding automation to the production process and shortening the final product lead time. With these changes he has been able to increase business output while reducing delivery times.
